My First Acoustic Guitar



This is my first Acoustic Guitar!





A month of jigs building and 3 months of hard work The sound is great!The shape is my design, cutawy and oval sound hole.





Materials:
Back and sides: American walnut (Claro)
Top: Sitka spruse AAAA grade
Fretboard and bridge: Rosewood
Neck: American walnut laminated with hard maple veneers
Tuners: Gotho
Strings: 0.11 Martin
PickUp: LR Baggs, Element Active System VTC

I can't believe this was your first guitar building project. IT LOOKS AMAZING. Really... very impressive.

I just bought a kit to work from for my first build project, but your first time FROM SCRATCH guitar puts my little attempt to shame! How did you get the courage? Did you have previous woodworking skills?
